Back at Grafton High School, just north of Milwaukee, we installed a full wrap graphic across a six pack of doors, the entrance to the main gym. This coincided with branding we did, about a year ago, for their revamped weight room (link to previous blog).
We were very pleased on how this six pack turned out. The challenge was to coordinate the pattern across not only the doors, but the vertical framework for the doors. Proper graphic design, along with preparations for printing each piece, was vital (not to mention the importance of accurate measuring on the site inspection). The design spanned 213″, which included the framework. Since we install wrap-around graphics on the door edges, we just could print big, cut in between each door and upright, then call it a day. While it took a bit more time than anticipated, the effort paid off. Look close…pretty darn good!
